Then when i went to use the hair drier, it was all sticky and terribly dirty. So i asked for a new one but it took a reminder phone call and then only arrived at my room as i was ready to fall asleep ~9:40pm (had an early start the next day).
Oh btw, if possible, avoid the rooms ending in 07 and 08. They are connected (locked doors) so it can get a bit loud from the next door. My neighbor was fighting loudly at one point and then coughed all night.
I want to give this place more stars because the workers were super friendly and the price was decent. But there were a few problems during my stay.
First, i had to switch my room when I arrived (which was fine) but the new room's pillows(2 of the 4 provides) had some what looked like makeup residue on the pillow cases.
I got to start at the Radisson at a fantastic price. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. My one issue with the room is how small the bathroom was (it may have just been my room). My check out was a bit difficult because they tried charging me an extra $150 and the gentleman I originally had kept arguing that the price was correct. It wasn't until someone else stepped in that the issue was resolved. I would start there again but if also keep an eye on the bill for check-out.
Everything else in the hotel worked well, it was in a good location, and again the staff was very friendly. So i would still recommend this place- but I do hope they step up their response time to requests/complaints!
A friend booked this hotel for a weekend trip for us. The staff at check in was amazingly friendly and helpful. The lobby smelled amazing (I need to find out what air freshener they use). The beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean, and it was just a generally wonderful experience. The only downside was that we couldn't regulate the temperature in the room, which was probably our own fault.
Convenient location, comfortable bed, smaller than average room - at least, it felt that way. I didn't break out the tape measure to double-check. Everything was very clean and polished. Lobby was kept at a temperature that was best described as 'sauna-like.' We had a fire alarm go off and our building had to be evacuated at 2am. It was a false alarm (it happens; no big deal), but once we got outside there was no one to guide us anywhere. We wound up back in the lobby where no staff addressed us until 75% of the room had cleared out back to their rooms. Only then did they tell us all we could head back up. Overall, a good stay.
This place is very nice. I stayed here about 6 years ago and they went through some major renovations. I love that they have up to 3 adjoining rooms and the staff is friendly. I'd definitely stay here again soon. You free great views of the city and close to everything!
