Very nice, high quality hotel. Great location and lots of nearby restaurants. Don't stray too close to the downtown area at night, it gets a little sketchy if you aren't near the stadium or the water front. Rooms are very nice and the beds are comfortable.
The hotel was great. I want to give a shout out to Luis and Maryann at the Yard Bar. They made our stay very enjoyable. I feel like we have two new friends. Room was clean and food was delicious. We will be back.
A nice Marriott very close to Camden Yards, the Arena, and the Hippodrome. We had a very nice room but the hotel is starting to show it's age. The bed was excellent and the staff were also excellent. The continental breakfast was very good.
Overall, an above-average hotel convenient to the convention center. As a gold member, I was upgraded to the concierge level. The room was spacious enough and clean. I was a little disappointed that there was not a convenient place to plug in my laptop at the desk. I never visited the lounge during the evening snack, but the breakfast selection I felt was above average. In addition to eggs and a meat, there was a nice selection of fruit and smoothies. There were also granola bars you could grab for snacks later in the day. The staff could have been a little more friendly (they were largely absent). On Saturday, I had the buffet breakfast downstairs. Again, I would rate it as above average for the typical Marriott buffet. Overall, I would stay here again.
Staff seems attentive, beds are comfortable but other than that I wouldn't really consider it to be 4 star facilities. A/C in my room was tricky, working sometimes, not others. Room was a bit small - I kept bumping into the coffee cart, closet was more like a deep half closet and, at 6ft tall, I had to bend my knees quite a bit in the shower. TV is analog, reading light on the lamp didn't work - nothing too awful, just not 4 stars. Location is convenient for Camden Yards and the convention center.
