I order the 5.99. Meal deal , i find myself going back there often. The fried chicken and mac and cheese are the bomb. Highly will recommend if you want some good old fashion soul food.

New to this area, saw it driving by accident. Cash only so got cash. No lie.. waited almost 20 minutes & dude never took order. He was so busy trying to impress the girls not ordering just hanging out eating around the register & giving a hollar out to cook waiting for him to take an order I just walked out. Honestly...no one was ordering but me & he was too busy. I found awesome place on North Ave & now a caterer for the HBC Scholarship event...plus good Soul Food with class.
Im from dc I recently moved out here and thought I'd try some good soul food I ordered the rib dinner with macaroni & sweet potatoes & a crab cake it was everything It felt like I was eating at my grandmas table for Sunday dinner I will be a regular
Ordered fried chicken and it was delicious! Bummed they forgot the greens though. Mac and cheese was baked deliciously but the rice was a little grainy. Banana pudding was to sweet for me though
