Kind of terrible. Burnt bread on the egg sandwich, burnt eggs, bacon seemed microwaved flat. I didn't know you could mess up bacon, but they did. My 9yo makes better food. Difficult to find--it is down an alley in a side door. Plus, they have about 6 or 8 ? counter stools for seating and that's about it. Decor is hideous, but food was even worse. Oh, except the potato chunks, those were pretty good. The music sounded like Irish drinking songs coming out of a 1950's radio. Will NEVER go there again.
Our car broke down right in front of their little restaurant. They brought us in, fed us and even offered to pay for our meal. We paid bc of their incredible hospitality and friendliness. Plus the food and service was outstanding! Most definitely recommend to everyone who is visiting Baltimore or lives close by!
Excellent breakfast omelette. Good (and simple) coffee. Very affordable. Cool and super chill people running the place. Veggie options too. Very nice way to start a smooth day.
Wonderfully cute and solid place for breakfast food. Don't be put off by the small operation, the diner style seats are quite fun, and almost all the ingredients are locally sourced from family style farms. If you get here during a good time you can ask for the daily omelet special, and the great decor can keep you busy while you wait. The coffee is excellent, as is the eggs (from Andy's eggs in Fallston, MD)! Make sure you try this place out, it's the one with the blue doors out front!
Most of the reviews that I read were good, so I wanted to try it out. I ordered sausage egg and cheese on toast, and a coffee.
I drink my coffee plain, so I can be picky about the flavor of the coffee and theirs is very good! I wasn't as thrilled with the food. The "toast" was an odd style of oatmeal bread, and the bread had an odd flavor. I tried to eat the sandwich without the bread. I ended up throwing most of it away because it was extremely oily.
The sandwich came with side of potatoes and beets in a little aluminum pocket. Those were tasty.
