Cheap good eats
This place sucks. The drive thru wait is always half an hour. I sat there for half an hour one day with no one in front of me. They kept saying, "just a minute". Ugh. And the food is pretty crappy once you get it, too.
Took forever but food was hot
When my husband found out there was an A&W nearby, we decided to make the 30 minute trip, since had had fond memories of eating there as a kid.What a mistake. When we walked in the door, there was a line of three groups a;ready in front of us and an employee nowhere to be found. My husband suggested we bail, but I was determined since we made the half hour trip. After we had been in line about three minutes, (I was watching the drive-thru counter) the old man in front of us yelled "Is anyone working here?" When there was no response, he left. About two minutes later with no sign of an employee, the other two people in line also left. My husband and I held out. When the cashier did finally come to the front, she offered no apology or explanation. We placed our order, then waited over 10 minutes for the food to be finished. His burger was a dried puck, my fish and chips was soggy and bland. While we were waiting and had time to really look around, we noticed the how absolutely filthy the place was--puddles of who-knows-what under the counters, napkins under the tables that had clearly been there for a while, dust, grime, and dirt under all the hard-to-reach places. It was really foul. I have no idea how this place is still in business and hasn't been shutdown by the Heath Department.
