Edit: Our dog recently ate a shoelace, and the team was amazing at getting her an emergency appointment and caring for her. Still very happy.
We recently rescued a dog and this was the second vet we visited—and we have definitely found our permanent veterinary center for our pup! The receptionists were so nice and thoughtful every step of the way and made us feel very welcome. Our dog was very relaxed there, which was so impressive because she is not a fan of vet. The veterinary technicians were thorough, gave plenty of treats and love while also taking her history and listening to our concerns. The vet (Dr. Moulder) was very detailed, didn't rush at all, and explained his treatment plan for her allergies while also making sure we were on track with vaccines and heart-worm/flea and tick. He also reviewed the sparse medical history we had for her and discussed it with us.
Moreover, the place was very clean, fresh-smelling, and had a convenient parking lot. Highly, highly recommend.
My dog never does well at the vet; severe anxiety always made his vet trips difficult. Until today! I just have to say that I am so impressed with Dr. Moulder and his tech, Amber. My dog was so much more relaxed here, he was able to actually be examined! Ha! The doctor and staff put all of us at easy and by the end of the visit, Omar, my dog, was just sitting next to Dr. Moulder, just chilling. Ha! So very happy with this vet!! I don't think Omar even realized he was at the vets because it was so clean and welcoming and smelled good! Not sure how they do it, but we are very happy and will be returning there for all of Omar's needs from now on! Thumbs up!
I started see Dr.Moulder at Jacksonville & loved him so much that I transferred when he did. The mediocre review is not indicative really of him at all. He does great with all of my rescue baby’s despite how skiddish they can be. I have only been to see him at this office on maybe two occasions & the second one I was extremely turned off. The tech was asking me pretty general questions & I had told her what my concerns were (minor things in comparison to my others). As soon as she left I could here her on the other side of the door talking to Dr.Moulder going down what she called a “laundry list” of questions. She had made it seem as if my questions were a hassle & annoying. I don’t feel like I should feel bad about questions I have regaurding my dogs health at a wellness exam. In addition to that experience I was e-mailing with Dr.Moulder about my other dog & him being sedated for his upcoming wellness exam & the ball ended up getting dropped and I never heard back; making me feel like the tech did. I wish him all the best & thank him for the years of care he provided to my dogs! Olie, Otto, & Riggs thank you!
The staff is always so great with our pup! Very friendly and very thorough. Pricey but worth it.
Dr. Kauder was amazing. She took her time with us, and the staff were also very accommodating and helpful. My dog is a shy and anxious girl, and they were able to really calm her and gave excellent care advice. So glad we chose this vet, honest opinions and gave the pros and cons of each test and prescription before we chose our options.
