My husband was in here for 2 days. He was on the 4th floor, South wing. The nurses and techs were very nice and helpful. They made our stay pleasurable. The nurses and staff that prepared him for eye surgery were a pleasure also. If you ever need a good eye doctor, go see Dr. Grumbine. I highly recommend him.

The staff are very, very rude. Customer service is the worst. One staff member in particular DEFINITELY needs a reality check WHITLOCK. AND THE SECURITY IS EVEN WORST. I SPOKE TO SOMEONE BY THE NAME OF GEORGE REFUSED TO GIVE HIS FIRST NAME THIS IS A MATTER FOR HIGHER UP OFFICIALS - THE MAYOR'S OFFICE AND THE CITY COUNCIL. IF THAT DOESN'T WORK THE NEWS MEDIA. THIS IS A HOSPITAL NOT A PRISON VISITORS SHOULD BE TREATED WITH RESPECT. SEVERAL OTHER VISITORS HAD THE SAME ISSUES.

Pictures taken of the room in the Post Acute Specialty Program 6th floor in January 2017 but as of July 2017 nothing had changed.

Please don't send loved ones here. Go somewhere else if you need it.

I was hospitalized in the behavioral/psych unit for a few days. While the doctor Patchan (I believe that's how you spelled her name) and her social worker/partner were amazing, the staff and nurses were the worst. The facility was filthy, nurses would take too long to tend to patients needs. One staff member in particular made some rude comments about my weight. I've stayed at one other hospital and I could say this one has a horrible time calming unruly patients. The lack of care from the ones we relied on was awful. I just have nothing positive

To say about that place besides the therapist and social worker I saw before discharge.

My first time going to this hospital was to have my vascular surgery. The staff was amazing I never felt so welcome in a hospital in my life. They introduced me to everyone in that department. My nuser and the young lady in training stayed by myside the whole time. I pray I never half to go back to the hospital. But mudtown will be definitely my hospital of choice.

My brother is now at what they call a hospital for rehab. It has to be the dirtiest, over neglected facility in the state of Maryland. You cannot even see out of the windows for the dirt and the window shades either don't work or are falling down. Forget air condition, fans running everywhere. The vents to the air conditioner are filthy as well. It is suppose to be a rehab facility but I feel you will need rehab after you leave. Wipe your feet on the way out. I truly feel for the people that live in this area who HAVE to depend on this hospital for medical care. Insurance is probably the reason most people are sent here, not the care for which you are told but to cut down on expenses. Shame on whoever is in charge of this facility. I don't think even the health department bothers to check this place out. GOD Bless the neighboring community that relies on this hospital (and I use this term loosely) for medical care. HAD TO GIVE ONE STARE BECAUSE YOU CANNOT LEAVE IT BLANK!

8/15/2017-UPDATE: My Brother is no longer with us, he died at this facility. If you care about your loved one, do what ever it takes to keep them from being placed in the Post Acute Specialty Program-6th Floor! The pictures I have of the rooms where patients are on respirators would make you cringe. If you have no other choice, then visit your loved one as much as possible to make sure they are really being cared for. If your lucky, you may get one of only two sitters that really cared about my bothers care. We came to visit my brother and found him in a state of almost full unconsciousness, the sitter thought he was asleep? It took the staff 45 minutes to get him into ICU-that was May my brother passed in July.
