Any other time that I had to go here, it was always a pleasant and professional experience. This last time I went, I was in 10+pain with no relief. It was 2 AM and I was having severe abdominal pain, I was registered and triaged. Then I was sat back into the waiting area. 2 hours later I still had not been taken to a room. There were people in the waiting area that had been there since the morning before! After waiting an additional 2 hours I couldn’t sit up any long, I left. There was nothing going on in the back, patients were everywhere and you would have thought they were casualties of war the way they were strewn around the halls and such. No one could get any answers, people half dead, projectile vomiting etc. As I was leaving I heard another woman say that she had been waiting since 8 AM the day before!! Something needs to be done! Please do not apologize for the behavior because clearly nothing is being done. I have only seen this type of madness one other time at another hospital. It’s sad and sickening!!! ADMINISTRATORS, DO SOMETHING!!!

How do you give 0 stars for this ER? Unfortunately it is the closest hospital to me. When I called 911 I had chest pain, trouble breathing, & jaw pain. I get to the ER they flop me in a wheelchair and push me out to the waiting room. I sat there for 4 hours (I m a cardiac patient, 19 stents, 5 MI's, 7 way bypass). They call me and take blood and put IV in. Send me back to waiting room. I went to nurse at check in and said I'm leaving take iv out. She said I can get you back now. Really? No I'm leaving. Sign against medical advice. What medical advice? I saw no one. Went to Hopkins and they took care of me. I will never go to Franklin Square. I will go to Hopkins from now on. Crazy. No customer service skills with any employee in building. It's night and day difference between Franklin Square & Hopkins. This place needs help to continue to be a hospital. In other posts they say they want to learn from negative posts. Ha! What have they learned? They are really bad?

I almost died infront of the emergency room, I had trouble breathing and was brought by the ambulance to the er, the checked my ekg and brought me out pending when the 7hr awaited doctor I started having serious pulmonary problem I told them I could not breath to my greatest surprise the thought I was faking it, for the first time in my life I gave up, told my dad "where my belongings are gave him my bank card told him who my next of kin was" thank God am still living today, even the nurse Manger came out and told me that she will send me out if I continue requesting, never go to FSH if you are your situation is similar. I stand with this statement and will defend it at anytime.

I have been waiting in the ER to see a doctor for 7 hours and 30 minutes since I posted this and I am still waiting. No one can give me a time as to when I will be seen. My glucose was at 465 and nothing so far has been done to lower those numbers. Horrible! After asking how much longer the nurse on duty could not give me a time. On top of that I was told that they would need to run blood work when I just previously came from Patient First with all the results from the blood work they ran, I was told by the nurse they needed to run their own test. Ridiculous , anything to boost their revenue. I had to leave and was told to sign a waiver that I choose not to receive care. I was there almost 8 hours are you kidding me. I DO NOT recommended Franklin Square ER.

This is the second time my husband has had to go to the emergency room in a couple of months. The only reason that we went there is because his Oncologist is there. The first time we arrived 300 :a.m. in the morning and finally got out of there at 4:30 p.m. -13 1/2 hrs.later. Today we arrived at 9:00 and at 4:00 in the afternoon we were still sitting in the waiting room. My husband was in a lot of pain and nothing could be done for him. I would recommend that you go anywhere else.
