If i could give this place an absolute zero or negative star i would. I am currently uploading the video of my experience as we speak. To digress, the manager ,christian, was holding interviews i applied tried to follow up numerous times but no one ever answered the phone. This went on for about 3 weeks. I would call corporate in mechanicsville and they would try to reach out but nothing happened. So i decided to go up there and inquire about the status of my application and was treated very rudely by one of the older associates. He told me the manager was in a conference and would be out shortly. So i waited about 45 mins then asked again when would he be available i was then told verbatim "He is in meetings and wont be out until 5pm" i then told the gentleman that i would wait and asked him for a number to the corporate headquarters and his attitude instantly change to defensive when i was merely asking questions.
We did a two hour party. It was a little pricy but we had unlimited pizza and wings. Overall, it was a good experience, but the lanes broke down a few times.
This place is always to busy and out of lanes if your not here in the morning. This place is fine if your in a league but for single bowlers just go somewhere else. Not worth hauling your bag inside just to be turned away every time.
This place used to have a nice crowd especially with leagues. However the crown has dwindled. Due to rate changes and the things that they offer on the menu as far as drinks for a group. They no longer offer soda by the picture full. The cups of soda are expensive. the public is just not pleased anymore.
It was my first time at the AMF! My family and I had a great time! There was GREAT costumer service. I recommend this for those who are competitive and partying
