A nice bit of wilderness in the heart of Baltimore.

This was a great day to be out with the kids. Train rides and rock climbing!

This place is simply a piece of heaven located smack dab in the middle of the gates of hell...sort of like the eye of a hurricane, calm and peaceful but once you leave the park your in a natural disaster..aka..West Baltimore..but all jokes aside, this is a wonderful place to hike the many trail that are offered.

It's pretty & my clothes are drying right now :)

My family plan events on the West Forest Park side of Leakin Park. The pavilion is really huge and has about twelve or more long picnic tables, a area to grill and fish fry with outlets, several trash cans with a lot a running area( a lot). We usually get a spot a pot because the bathrooms are a little to far for elderly family members and little kids to get to. A lot of nice scenery for family pictures and moon bouncing. Parking is near the bathrooms so you will have to back you car up to the picnic area to unload supplies and food and equipment. On really hot days we have had fans out there to cool the air. It's really nice!
