The Senator is easily the best place to see a film within probably hundreds of miles of the theater. Only The Uptown in DC comes close. Reasonable prices on everything, easy enough street parking (but pay attention to the signage!) Snacks are old school movie standards: popcorn, candy & soda. You can get drinks and food at Clark Burger next door though. Make sure the movie you want to see is on the big screen and don't bother seeing anything on the small screens here. Check it out while you can. Places like this are always in danger of disappearing.
Historic movie house with some updates. Enjoy the art deco design of the main screen area and lobby. Three smaller modern theatres have been added recently. It is a must see for any movie on the big screen in the main theatre. Comfortable seats, great sound system, and high film qualify.
Awesome old theatre. We loved it. Wanna go back as much as we can. Also the burger joint next door is good and has delicious boozy milkshakes.
Another great local movie theater - pretty nice renovation, decent prices, and GREAT that they formally connected to the burger place next door to offer in-theater service on the weekends I think?? Also, really good revival schedule!
Beautiful, comfy, elegant, great staff. Always a pleasure. Pretty much the only theater I want to go to any more.
