This was my families first visit since the renovation. Loved it and all had a wonderful time. The food selection had increased and was more filling than thr previous menu. Staff was friendly and welcoming full of information.
I used to work at this place when I was young. This theatre has gone so far down hill. From employees that don't give a damn ranging from ticket taker on up to management. To the theatre being downright filthy. The carpet has so much popcorn on it it looked liked the place had a bad case of dandruff. The area to put salt and butter on your popcorn was atrocious. Covered in straw wrappers, salt, butter, popcorn, drink lids, and spilled soda that had obviously been there long enough to become dry and sticky. While we are on the subject of sodas, only one of the multiple soda machines having any ice in it. The bathrooms with zero paper towels in the 10 or so dispensers but plenty of used ones all over the sink counter. I overheard another lady say that the women's restrooms had no paper in any of the stalls. I get there for a 10:45 showing, purchase my ticket at 10:02. By 10:36 I am still not in the theatre being told over and over that theatre 9 still hadn't been cleaned. I ended up going and getting a refund. The man at the guest services kiosk refunded my money without a care in the world. He gave me my refund and a slip for a free movie on my next visit which he tore off a booklet he had at the ready. That leads me to believe I wasn't the first to have a problem today. I did however give it back to him. I'll try a different theatre from now on. I'd actually hate to know the cleanliness of their kitchen that we can't see if the areas we can see are left in such disarray. This isn't my first bad experience at this theatre by far. I've even been there seeing a movie when they've left the house lights up a good 15 minutes into the picture. There are no such things as theatre checks anymore so when someone is talking the whole flick or sits there with their screaming baby you either have to deal with it or get up and miss part of the movie you've paid for in order to go find management and then to have nothing done about it anyway. They also have rediculous long lines at the box office only having one actual person selling tickets and expecting us to buy with the automated tellers. Concessions are broken down into "classes" now, if you join their little club u get your own special line. I've kept trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt and chance after chance to correct issues. I thought maybe with all the money they spent remodeling the place they'd be sure it runs well too. I was wrong. What a shame. My advice...find a different theatre that actually cares about their patrons not just their money.
The remodel looks good but the theater was dirty and I was there for the first showing in that theater. Also the menu needs to be more precise because I ordered the chicken and waffles and that's what I got and when I return because they forgot the curly fries they said that's what you ordered but the menu says Chicken and waffles in bold and the description under say chicken, waffles, curly fries and a chocolate chip cookie. The cashier only ask if I I wanted a drink with it. Confusion
Get your own drinks, and so many flavors to choose from. Seats recline. It was cold in the theater though. Employees was pleasant. Recommend bring a jacket.
Great movie, screen and sound were awesome. Staff was mostly very helpful. They informed us the theater would be a little cold, that was an understatement. We really wanted to watch the movie, but it was freezing.
