Although a wonderful store, with delightful products, I chose not to shop here for now. I can not pick up a sandwich and get checked out in less than ten minutes. I work in the area and have a thirty minute break, by the time I check out there is no time to enjoy my lunch. The local clientele are generally rude and seem to not want outsiders in this neighborhood.
What an amazing experience!!!! I walked in for a last minute strawberry shortcake which they usually need three days to prepare. On my way out the door Shakira caught me and told me that they can make the cake for me. Not only was the cake ready on time, but the cake was absolutely beautiful. Shakira really took her time and made this cake perfect.
Graul's has quality products including very good bakery and deli. I've been underwhelmed by the friendliness (lack thereof) of the employees. For such a nice store, it would be great to have an equally nice and friendly employee base.
i worked there for a few years and must say it was one of my favorite jobs ever ! Shelly is an amazing chef with great food ! I miss Grauls !
Make sure to try the Better Cheddar spread.
Good for specialty items, but fairly expensive. And limited hours.
