They suck. They like to trick you into buying stuff you do not need. They all smoke crack too.
Lied to me about their black friday sales and tried charging my $10 more then what he said the product was due to the face he wouldn't admit he didn't know the deals they were running. After 15+ years of using this company and their affiliates I will be making the switch somewhere else.
Its obvious Gamestop is a cold profit driven company, and unfortunatly the employees have to balance the BS corporate policy with being a real human. Most get worn down and mold to the machine , but a few stand out as exceptional people, and maintain their compassionate human nature despite the corporate struggle. These are the employees that keep us coming back. Will, at whitemarsh mall, is such an employee, and i hope he is appreciated by upper management as much as he is by the community for his passion to fulfill his customers desires.
Amazing experience today! We come in here often, &the employee Will here is always trying to help the customers get what they want. Gamestop has been getting a bit of a bad rep lately but the few good employees you come across are very human and helpful.
The sales person greeted us when we came in the store and answered questions. We had a good experience here, as opposed to down the mall at the Re:Gen store, where the clerk didn't greet us (fine), reluctantly answered questions (okay), and generally acted like a jerkface.
So, I guess this is a compare and contrast review, but what a difference. I'm definitely willing to go into this GameStop again to be treated well and have any questions answered in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
