It’s a great idea for a good cause. We were there at 4pm, all the cats were sleeping and not in the mood to play with us. The cats were okay with us petting them while they were sleeping, but one of them was not happy with that and scratched me. I understand, and I kind of felt bad to interrupt their nap time. Not much to do other than pet sleeping cats. Gets a bit boring after 15 minutes. I would suggest a larger variety of beverages and desserts. Music was great. They had some board games. I agree with previous comments that the ambience could be a more intimate. It’s very bright in there.
Great cat cafe! They had just gotten 5 new cats so everyone was a little unsettled, but we still really enjoyed it. The owner was there and was super friendly. He told us all about the cats and their personalities and the cafe. They work with the Baltimore Humane Society and have adopted out 22 cats already!
Great new spot supporting a good cause! Went for a wine and Cat night - staff was friendly and the cats were cute. Will definitely be back for other events!
It's a great idea, and for an amazing cause, so this is meant solely as constructive criticism. First, it doesn't really feel like a cafe, mostly because its all fluorescent lighting and there's no music. There are comfy couches and nice places to group up, but it is still lacking the warmth or intimacy of a cafe. Second, the cats seem nervous. I am no expert in animal behavior but based on my own interactions with my beloved kitties, these did not seem entirely comfortable. It would be great if there were more cat trees or high places for them to perch and escape to when stressed.
Just some thoughts. I totally support the idea and I know they have already had several adoptions which is wonderful. I really hope they succeed!
Love it! I made an appointment immediately after a photo of a beautiful tabby, Whitney, was posted on Charm Kitty's Facebook. I fell in love with her immediately and adopted her. She is the love of my life and I couldn't be happier!
