Mondawmin Mall has a lot of interesting stores to buy from like clothes, shoes jewelry, household products, personal things and etc. But one store I hope Mondawmin Mall never loss is Target or Rite Aid, Target and Rite Aid has so many things to choose from rite here in your own neighborhood. I Think Mondawmin Mall made a great investment when they add Target,Rite Aid,Ross, Fashion to Figure and Marshalls to the mall. But most of all Friday's people love to eat good food and drink. But they want to feel safe while doing it. Mondawmin Mall has so many store to choose from but if the add a Walmart it would be even better.
It's connected to the subway line and has a bus station providing public transportation to any where in the city. It's great place to meet up with friends and family, to go shop, eat, and hang out in a great atmosphere... It's convenient for the consumer. They have stores that are inexpensive, making it great market place and consumer friendly mall to consider shopping for families with children upgrading their closets, seasonally, within a reasonable spending budget....
I have been going to Mondawmin Mall since I was a little girl with my parents in the early sixties and it has always been a nice inner city mall. I used to work in the mall for Verizon before it closed in 1995. I've seen a lot of changes. I'm glad Mondawmin Mall is still here.
Stores are mostly for younger kids but do have a few for the older, hipper adults. Target is right next door. While Mondawmin is a more urban flavor, Target is a mix kind of hangout. Though recently, the Target brave have begun to venture into Mondawmin mall, which is cool. Mondawmin does have a reputation for being rowdy and at times, it's deserved. But at other times it can be exciting. Located near the subway and business, you can get most places from there.
I've been traveling to Mondawmin Mall every since i can remember from childhood with my grandmother. Even thou it changed, i see folks and young teens love being at the mall. It's a shame how few kids mess it up for the good kids in our community. Yet even i notice a good kid. It's sad how the Security at that mall treat them all the same. To me it makes them worst then the kids themself. Guide a child they can be President. Destroy a child they can become your worst nightmare.
