It's a really cool building, though its age shows and navigating can be a bit of a hassle. In my experience, though the people working there are very helpful.
Nice setup for toys for tots
The main entrance lacks handicap accessibility. People in wheelchairs must enter through the back entrance. This is a total shame. Members of the public must have an ID and "authorized business" to enter (meaning your name is on a list or you are aware of a public meeting). There is no public comment at City Council meetings. Public comment is relegated to council hearings which mostly take place during 9-5 working hours. Unlike scores of major cities from coast to coast, public access to Baltimore City Hall is extremely limited and this reflects quite clearly on the politics of the city.
