I don't know much about the museum but I heard from other people it nice to explore

But be careful in the surrounding neighborhood. Don't need to go far to be in a bad area. Park on the square. Leave long before dark. Nearby Hollins Market area worth a look, during the day.

It's a great piece of American (specifically Baltimore) history. You can visualize the atmosphere in which Mencken relaxed and developed his many great ideas.
