I have purchased a watch for my husband for Christmas. I spent the extra $40.00 for the warranty. Upon coming back to this Kay's to have the watch cleaned, we were told that there was a crack in it and that it would have to be sent out for repairs. It would be out for 4-6 weeks. The man inside the store did not want to honor the warranty stating that the purchase of the watch was too old for the warranty. I pulled out the warranty that I purchased and showed him that I still had one year before the warranty became unvalid. He then walked away from us, without explanation, waited on others in the store and pretty much just stalled until he couldn't think of anything else to tell us. Meanwhile another salesperson came over and helped us get the watch sent out for repairs. This was approximately one month ago. To this day, we still have not received the watch and each time we call, we are told that the watch has not been returned and that they don't know when and if the watch is coming back or a replacement instead. I encourage people not to visit and/or purchase anything from this store or at the very least, this location.
I got there at noon well after the mall was open to the public. They were the only store in the mall not opened. I was shopping for something specific I had seen on their web site. There were 4 or 5 employees sitting around so I tapped on the glass to find out what time they were.going to open. The woman inside just kinda glared at me and shouted something to shoo me away. Customer lost forever. Good job.
On the up side I walked across the hall to Littman Jewelers and found a lovely lady who found exactly what I was looking for. So Kay loses a customer and Littman gains one. Kay should understand there are a lot of choices out there.
The manager told me she didn't have time to deal with what I needed her to do...I thought dealing with costumers needs were what people in costumer service was suppose to do .. the only thing I needed her to do was inspect my ring/necklace in order for me to keep my warranty .. absolutely ridiculous. Everytime I enter this store there's something else... this location is terrible..
