He served something I am deathly allergic to the smell of at my wedding... and he knew it.
He seems great until about a month or two before the wedding. He wouldn't return my phone calls until I showed up at the catering address to drop off decor. He has a lot of brilliant ideas that he spat off the entire year and a half we were planning but the day of almost none of them happened. He needs someone to write his ideas down so you have them on writing. The food wasn't what we agreed on. The ceremony rentals were not in the correct place. A few of my guests didn't have seats at their table. we ran out of our signature drink before cocktail hour was over- he never replenished it. We also ran out of beer, which he did go out and get more. The food that was served was
Charles catered my son Zach’s Bar Mitzvah. The food was delicious, the desserts were exactly as we requested. The room was elegant. We received such great feedback and compliments from our guests.
I attended a Bar Mitzvah on October 28, 2017, catered by Charles Levine Caterers. The event was PHENOMENAL. The decor was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the entire event as a whole was flawlessly executed. You can definitely tell that attention to detail was a top priority, and seeing all of the other guests having the best time just as much as I was definitely demonstrated how amazing this catering company is.
Planned for so long were completely wrong. He completely threw off the timeline as well. I would absolutely not recommend him.
Would highly recommend Charles to cater your event. You are in excellent hands.
This may have just coincided with the opening of his new restaurant so he wasn't focused. But it was an awful experience for us.
Having enjoyed this event so much, I cannot see myself using any other caterer for my future events. I am so excited to hold an event in the future and use Charles Levine Caterers as my top choice caterer.
