The casino is nicely designed, but the staff are not that friendly. It is to hard to get the attendants to give change. The young crowd is way too busy. The age limit should be raised. There r too many fights from young people over drinking. It is hard to win on the slot machines. The food is very good, but the service needs improvement at all of the eateries. The cage cashiers r not friendly and very few women attendants r friendly, especially the ones that work the late shift. The males r friendly and don't mind giving u change. It is within walking distance from Orioles stadium. There is plenty of parking. Customer service definitely needs improvement.

If you are from out of state & DON’T have a horizontal ID don’t even waste your time. I came in from Texas, 22 years old & couldn’t get into the casino due to the fact that my TEXAS ID was vertical. It doesn’t expire until 2019. How was I supposed to know of this rule (which is ridiculous)? Security was rude as hell & “their wasn’t a manager around”. They could’ve swiped my ID like every other casino I’ve been to. Oh & the security this came from Vegas.... but I’ve been to Horseshoe in Vegas with no problems. Just plain out ridiculous!

Do not go on a game night. The parking was outrageous. They would rather collect a few dollars for parking then allow casino guest to get in and out. The parking staff, which is run by security, was deplorable. They all stood on the ramps talking instead of helping traffic move along. Of seven floors there was only staff up until the second level. From 3-7 was a parking lot with multiple intersections, 3-6 was blocked off with golf carts and traffic cones. They routed EVERYONE to the top floor. Where there are very few security cameras and no guards. They did not open any of the other floors even though there was almost no one in them. When leaving cars were still rolling in. Everyone was in such a hurry to get into the only lane leaving that traffic was completely stopped. It took someone having their son getting out of the car and standing in front of a departing car to allow incoming traffic to move again. I called security and spoke to the ‘supervisor’, who’s named Cody. This was a joke. I did not feel as if I was heard and at no point did he ask for my name or mention going up there to resolve the situation. I called Harrah’s and they could only reroute my back to horseshoe. The experience inside was even worse, but at least it was somewhat organized. I will not be going back to horseshoe again. Save your money and go to the MGM or Live!

Of all the casinos that I've ever visited, it's one of my favorites. There is plenty to do for just about anyone. Plenty of slot machines, table games, at least two dance floors, live band and free soft drinks. The parking is plentiful, especially for downtown Baltimore. One of the things I'd improve, is the food choices, the barbeque one, its food is pretty bad, the Chinese one is decent.

Friends brought me here for my birthday, it was my first time going to the horseshoe. It was good, very open layout and won some on the slots. Drinks are a little expensive but they make them strong which is good. Cant say anything about the food, didn't eat there. The crowd defiantly shifts after a certain time on the weekends, the staff could be nicer. I would give it another chance and maybe try the food.
