The lights were really nice, but the street was a lot shorter than expected. It was literally just a single block. My mom and I drive an hour there and back, and paid $10 for parking for what ended up being 5 min max of light-viewing.
If you live nearby, then it's worth it. But if you're like us who heard good things but live far ... don't do it.
Not all the homes were lit. It seems smaller than in last years. The half block is less bright than in past years. The luster seems to be fading. I guess all traditions must fad. It is a shame the record tree house was not lit along with a few other homes. Rather disappointing this year.
Always pretty, an amazing Christmas site filled with visitors for weeks. Some houses offer entrance to see the decor there in. Look for parking all around the area, but expect to pay. Nice family destination.
For something to do during the holidays it's nice to get out and see the block dresses for the season. Interesting set ups and it was cool to see homes open for the visitors to walk thru. Santa was in attendance and hot chocolate available to attempt to stay warm.
We really enjoyed stopping by here to see the houses all decked out for Christmas. The feel and the crowd were very fun. Everyone was in the holiday spirit. I was very impressed with the detail that went into many of the displays.
