It is really the best massage I found in baltimore . Many thanks
I was disappointed the last two days with the customer service in The Healing Path. I am normally not one to write negative reviews but I thought it was necessary. I attempted to call to inquire about prenatal massages yesterday evening and a woman at the front desk told me that if I could hold for a moment, she'd be right with me. After ten minutes on hold, I heard the phone be taken off hold and then it was disconnected. I attempted to call back 4-5 times, listening to many rings, no answer and their answer machine each time. This was 25 minutes before their closing time. I then called this morning again multiple times from the time they opened until an hour after they were supposed to be opened and again, received no answer. I decided to try again around 4:30 pm and did get an answer and talked to someone. As soon as I said that I was an interested client and was hoping to come in tomorrow to try out the facility after purchasing a Groupon, they were quick to tell me that tomorrow would not work at all for any of their locations. However, when going on their online site to their "Booking Online" section, each of their locations are accepting appointments for prenatal massages with multiple massage therapists available at many different times. I was disappointed as it seemed as if the Groupon (that you need to call to make an appointment if you have one--instead of booking online) is the reason that she said there were no appointments. I would rather pay another establishment an extra 50$ for prompt and exemplar customer service and who are eager for my business.
Carol is the best ....not only was my massage great but the layout and environment were as well. The staff members were polite and courteous as well.
Maybe I am old school in thinking that companies should respect their long term customers who are moving away, but I honestly would never ever go back, I would never recommended someone go to them, and I certainly would highly encourage you to never ever get a membership with them. Having to pay $25 in order to leave a one year contract two and a half years later is absolutely ridiculous and I am certain it will be higher for someone who signs up now. Bottom line don't do business of any kind with people who won't play by their own rules and Marie is definitely not a person to play by anyone's rules including her own.
Came for a quick visit from out of town. Receptionist was very nice and accommodating. She gave us a nice discount. Lori (not sure of spelling, but the male therapist) was excellent I've been massaging for over 18 years and I'm picky about who gives me a massage. He paid very close attention and focused on all of my problem areas. Even did some great psoas stretches. If I'm ever in B-more again I will definitely return.
I worked with Jen who was amazing for the past 2 and a half years. Unfortunately, both she an I moved away. She moved to Colorodo in June, and I moved to DC in September. I spoke with a receptionist about options for leaving the company because at that point, having only really dealt with Jen I loved the healing path, and that is when I discovered how terrible this company truly is. The receptionist informed me that I should fill out the contact form online to get answers. However, I never received a response. Every time I tried to call I wouldn't get anyone and when they called to confirm my appointment they didn't know. Finally, in November, I got the owner Marie's email in order to get the answers I needed to make a decision. I decided to cancel, which according to my original contract that I actually signed I could cancel after my initial year for free with 30 days notice. However, according to the "automatically renewed" updated contract, I had to pay $25 and give 30 days notice. No big deal right? So I called, and said I wanted to cancel. The receptionist sent me an email to confirm. I confirm and then she sends me and email saying you are going to be charged $25 and charged your membership fee for December since you did not give 30 days notice before December, but you membership ends as of the date you called and you can not use your membership past that date. Uh what?! As I am writing back, Marie writes back to her receptionist saying that she is wrong and that she needs to charge me $50. Apparently Marie isn't willing to uphold the release terms of even my "automatically renewed" contract, because she has since decided to change them. What?!! I immediately wrote back that all of this is missing from my contract and I need them to follow through on what my contract says. So far, they have yet to respond and I am dealing with it through my credit card company.
