Terribly inaccessible. Bus was overcrowded and dangerous. Poor driving and not enough seats.
Bathrooms were filthy.
(Review is for domestic travel - I haven't flown internationally out of BWI.) Probably the best large airport on the East Coast. Clean, well-organized, accessible by a variety of highways and public transit in case of traffic, affordable parking with frequent shuttles, good terminal food, and easy security lines. Not sure what else you really need out of an airport. Oh, and it's a big Southwest hub and Southwest is the best airline.
Terrific airport. Nice variety of food and shopping, the employees seem unusually chipper every time I pass through (which has been often over the past few years)...it’s got a nice open feel.
This airport has outstanding restaurants along with a great shopping experience for both domestic and international travelers
Easy access for such a large airport with excellent traffic flow allowing quick bag checks and then on to the departure area.
Internet was terrible. They have some stupid system with some company called Boingo that forces you to watch and ad every 45 minutes. Ridiculous.
I enjoy flying out of and into this particular Airport. Although they do have some really ignorant employees working at this Airport. Overall I think this airport is a 4 1/2 out of 5 but loses some of that star because of the employees. The lines to get into the secured area move quickly and the employees seems to be knowledgeable about how to do their jobs. It is easy to come out to the curb side to get your ride and it's also easy to come into the facility with the huge amount of ATM kiosk to check in and get your boarding pass and check luggage.
The normal chairs are uncomfortable and lack power. There are some power stations but they are too busy to take advantage of them.
On the plus side there is a wide variety of over-priced restaurant options!
I found the staff both TSA and Southwest to be unprofessional and in generous.
My only complaint? They could provide more outlets to the charging-hungry traveler.
